The Love and Care Family International encourages child sponsorship. A specific child may be sponsored and the sponsor will receive background information correspondence from that child. Since, this is a family, one child cannot benefit without all members of the family benefiting. It would be unseemly if one child were to receive shoes, uniforms, school fees, etc and other children in the family were not also receiving such care. To that end, the Love and Care Family International endeavors to find adequate support for all the children. As a result sponsorship funds will be applied to support everyone in the family who is in need, with a special emphasis on your sponsored child.

The Love and Care Family Uganda owns land on the outskirts of Kampala and is building a new Miriam Duggan Home and community center for the family there. Currently, the family is housed in a rented house. After the new Miriam Duggan Home is built there will be room to expand income generation projects for the family. The family maintains a garden on the land. Larger gifts are welcomed towards the cost of the new Miriam Duggan Home and community center.
